I got one for my '06 2500. It is worded differently, but essentially the result is "if it fails, it could cause a crash". Duh.
It happens that I just had the upper and lower ball joints replace and both ends of the tie rod, but not by Chrysler dealer. The nearest one is 40 miles away, and I have never trusted the dealer anyway. The independent guy I use is faster, more reasonable, and more capable. I am hoping to get reimbursed, but not holding my breath.
