Got an interesting notice from Chrysler Today.

Seems my 5500 has a safety recall for left tie rod ball studs. I guess they have had enough issues that they have to be replaced. Here's the kicker. Letter says, "However, the parts required to provide a permanent remedy for this condition are currently not available." They go on to say make an appointment AFTER Feb 10 and they will check it out to see if it needs replaced.

They said if it does need replaced, you need to schedule another appointment when the parts are available. That gives you a warm fuzzy feeling doesn't it?

Anyone else get one of these? It's for 2008 - 2012 4500/5500
