From what I have read you do not want to do a full rebuild - so why not just pull the slugs , hone, toss in some rings , bearings, clean up the valves , toss in the gaskets and call it done.
Biggest issue will be your bearing clearances.
Lip at the top of the boar does not look like it is a concern, piston should come out.
You can hone just the top[ of the bore and have a look- before pulling the piston- toss a damp rag in the bottom of the bore to catch most of the grit, vacuum, then remove the piston.
