Hi all,
I measured my rod journals at 2.050, where standard should be 2.062. When I look in a Federal-Mogul catalog for my bearing (which is not marked oversize) the only listing for the four digit number is:
"9185 CA 60"
where I believe that the "60" means .060 undersize. As Vauhn said, the new part is 9185CP, and this is listed immedately below mine with items:
"9185 CP"
"9185 CP 10"
...
"9185 CP 50"
where the ones with digits have "Refer to standard size", meaning the first which has the applications. So this makes sense: journals turned 0.012 and .060 undersized bearings in there, and my bearings were not labeled.
I did my additional plastigaging last night, and I get around 0.0037+ on #5, #4, #3.
The light-bulb is getting brighter....
