Basic understanding question #1: If I have a bearing which is 0.001 undersized for a 2.062 journal, does this mean that the radius of the bearing half is .001 shorter or that the diameter of the bearing pair .001 shorter? I.e in terms of radius a .001 undersized for 2.062 = 2.060ID or for diameter = 2.061?
Basic understanding question #2: probably identical to #1, but if I have a specified "tolerance" or an observed "clearance" is this a radial or a diametral value?
