I would disagree with the oil leaks because of not being maintained. PFB had very good mechanics and a very good maintenance program. That is a big part of keeping your fire rating. Every one of the 2 strokes leaked oil from the air boxes. All the stations kept a sheet metal drip underneath to keep the floor from being oily. When PFB moved to 60 series engines that all went away.
