What carb (and how many cfm) do you have? More importantly, are using headers or the stock exhaust manifold? I'm certainly not the expert in this area, but the old equation, theoretical air flow= rpm x engine displacement / 3456 comes to mind. In your case, 3500 x 318 / 3456 = 322 cfm. The ability of the more efficient Stealth intake manifold should have no problem achieving an airflow rate well above your theoretical maximum of 322 cfm. This will easily overshadow your port mismatch. Hope this helps. (and think headers)
