I was there on friday. Enjoyed seeing the trucks but I must admit I must have been there at the wrong time because I didnt see 96 trucks I saw maybe 20. I paid $6.50 to go in and look at the trucks and 10 minutes later the place was folded up and the people were gone. I then went to VPW to see it and it was locked up. I figured for the money you would at least get a piece of paper or a packet of information. I signed a legal form and gave the money and that was it.
I know our Dodge Charger Only shows have 100 cars and theres a sack of information about the town and site seeing for the tourists and a loud speaker for annoucements.
What trucks I did see were most excellent from show trucks to work trucks. I enjoyed seeing them all and got good pictures of them. I met Jon Armentrout and Dennis Sherman. Enjoyed talking with them.
I'll try it again next year on a different day. I am aware that without a truck to participate with I missed out on most of the fun but as a spectator paying $6.50 on friday it was somewhat disappointing.
