I have read this list faithfully for the last 4 months and am comforted by the compassion and comeradery (sp?) found with among these old truck owners. It is not as common in our culture as it once was. I now have a problem which i am not sure how to approach. I left my M37 ('53) on a steep incline for a week and it seems gas leaked into the crank. I drove the truck for a 1/4 mile and noticed no oil pressure. I shut it down and pulled the dip stick, full of gas. I then idled the truck back to the farm and shut it down. What should i do next? Did i do any harm to the motor? It ran great up till today. I would like to do a 318 upgrade but not right now!
