Spraying polyurethane is very easy. I'm not a fan of the poly shade " the stain mixed with stain". You only get one shot at it if you mess up the job you can't fix it because you'll be changing the color for every coat you add to try to fix the mess up. Always stain first to get the color you like then clear coat with the polyurethane or a water base polycrylic finish.
