Bendix-Weiss axle disassembly

I bought a set of B-W front axles from Tim a few years back,
and now I want to work with them. I can't find any instruction sheet for them.
I need to clean the cosmolene out and so need to get the joint apart. I drove out the pin, and can move the center ball some, but I can't figure out the trick to getting the balls to come out so I can get it apart and clean the stuff out properly
Can someone who has done this or has direct knowledge help me?
