I use a 5 gal bucket or small trash can for my stuff (hubs, third member housings, brackets and such), add warm water and baking soda (no need to buy washing soda) and hook up the battery charger (make sure the cables are on correctly) and let it run for 4-12 hours, and you will be amazed. And the waste water is harmless to plants. See link below.
