This Forum is one of several with very knowledgeable contributors. Almost all of them would readily help you solve a problem.
On the other hand, asking them to prepare a reply to a very simple and basic mechanical procedure that is well covered in a typical beginning mechanic's text book can be asking too much. I have prepared answers that involved my taking photos of dissembling and reassembling. I don't mind giving my time to help, and I pay a monthly fee to provide a web site to help others without expectinig any pay back.
I'm a little reluctent to transpose the text from an available source. Come to the Texas Power Wagon Reunion and meet me and the rest of us. You will find that we all want you to enjoy this great hobby.
Not only do we work on stuff, we also trade stuff. Oh, yes... You may learn that I'm not all that bad, either.
