Didn't work... :(

Went out and tried twisting the knob, didn't work in any direction. Looked up under the dash and it was smooth rod without any mechanism to hold it in position. I didn't have my camera with me, I'll post a pic of behind the dash later.

Looks like mine might be a replacement cable. It has a different knob too. Does not say "Throttle" on it, just a black generic black knob.
