The 15 inch Michelins on my hot rod failed with about 5000 miles on them , big bulge under the tread , cracks all over the tread and I picked a piece of tread off while i was looking at them . Car is garaged . Tires were about 10 years old . not sure if they were the VW XZLs or not . I think they were .
