I am surprised that you refer to a 1-ton truck with a 3-speed transmission. As far as I know, only 1/2-tons were equipped with 3-speeds. I assume that you have a 2 wheel drive truck, so the transmissions for them are quite common. Go to the 39-47 Dodge Group at the link below, join the group and ask about available transmissions. Your transmission would be the one called the 'after' model as opposed to the 'up to' model. Lots of luck.
