Jim, if you don't want to pull the flywheel, there are 2 locator dowels for block to housing alignment, one each side. You bolt the housing back to the block, then you can punch them through towards the flywheel, take out your bolts again and lift the housing up. ONLY punch them back just far enough or they will foul on the flywheel. Put pins back in block but don't knock them all the way back in until you have the housing back in place.
