I am with Doc Dave 100%. I do it exactly the same way, (same materials), except I use Base/Clear for top coat. In my heated shop, using the Picklex-20. I have no fear of any rust starting. In fact my Carryall went almost 2 years, just protected by Pickle-20 and being in my shop before any paint of any kind was shot. There was no rust anywhere, whatsoever.
