Let's see. Raging hormones, a sense of invincibility, a fragile ego, a strong desire to be noticed leading to excessive risk-taking, a less-than complete set of rational reasoning skills. That just about describes a teenager. Parents, usually divorced, overcompensating or failing to compensate, leaving the kids adrift and A media all too eager for the next sensational headline. (Careers are made and broken at these times.) Politicians desperately yearning to "do the right thing" and thereby garner votes. Some have clear agendas. Did I leave anything out?
