I have 3 NP203s - one in my truck and 2 in the shop and none of them are full time and they do not have kits in them . I have 4 high 4 low and 4 low locked and 2 wheel drive . The one in my trash truck has 150,000 miles on it , a lot of that is in the bush .
The front drive shaft does not turn in two wheel drive mode .
Get the original NP manual and see what they say .
