I'm like you, hard to slow down and take my time.
The other thing I have to keep reminding myself is that kind of like drywall the base only has to be smooth and solid, the joint compound makes it look pretty. I keep wanting all my patches and lines to be perfect and it's not going to happen, that's what the blocking and sanding is for.
Even though it's supposed to be like 70 here today I'm using the cold weather as my excuse for not moving directly into spraying primer. I'll go ahead and work on the interior mods next (seats, heaters, guages, etc), hopefully by that time it will be spring and I can start into the body and paint.
Ha! We are our own worst enemies. I thought the green one looked good. I'm sure I'd think the blue one looks great, but you know where all the bodies are hidden, mine is the same way.
