It looks like liquid grease on the inside bottom of the hub. If that is solvent thinned grease, did you get any solvent on the bearing with is visible in your picture? I suspect that you did. If so you need to pull the bearings, clean them up and repack them with either low or high temp grease. Since you have gone this far I would take the the entire axle end off and replace all the seals and bearings and rebuild the brakes. There are bushings on the inside of the axle and spindle and a seal with the bushing in the axle. Replace the king pin bearings/bushing. Yes it will cost a little but well worth it as you will not have to worry about them.
