so i just took my radiator from my 48 ffpw to a well know radiator shop over here in south jersey. Craigs Radiator in Sewell NJ.
My radiator has a few holes in it.
One thing the guy pointed out is that the filler neck is a messed up and he wants to put a new one on by melting down the weld and affixing a new neck to the top.... Does anyone have a top scrap tank with a good filler neck?
The guy said he would probably be able to find a new core for it.. I also just talked to vintage pw and they have a reconditioned rad for 450 plus freight, but it doesnt have a crank hole through the bottom tank... Im keeping my crank hole rad. I want it to be functional.
Any comments or suggestions?
