On the left side of the receiver, at the rear, there is a lever which says 'off' and 'on.' Try putting it in the 'on' position and feeding rounds. This lever is a magazine cut-off which stops the rounds from feeding. If you have it set to off, it won't feed from the magazine. If this doesn't fix your problem, you probably have a follower spring that is installed backwards or is weak.
