Differnt States have different games. NY doesn't assess on personal property, which gets real interesting when it comes to phone & power companies. They attach a SLIC to the ground and power it up it's personal property and not taxable. I attach my compressor enclosure to the ground and power it it's a building.
The town I'm in has laws that require a surveyor to map where your standby genset is located if it's NG powered. They even require a plumbing permit to change your water heater and have agreements with Blows & Desperate Homo to send them a monthly list of water heaters sold.
They even put a law on the books about moving portable buildings, requires a permit, and right after a few 2 story 12 x 12 minibarns went up in back yards they passed a law sayig minibarns can only be 12 feet high and single story.
The bustards gotta generate tax dollars for welfare.
