The multifuel is a diesel engine that will run on other fuels including vodka. It is most efficient on diesel. I had a M-109 shop van during my last five years in the Army. I got 8 mpg on diesel and barely four on MOGAS. It performed well on diesel and barely got out of its own way on gasoline. The strictly gasoline engine did not get much better mileage but it did perform better than a multifuel on gasoline.
