D44 axle help

Ok, I know my bearings suck on my 77 1/2 ton front (with 5 on 4.5). so, what can I do to upgrade them?? I am just researching it now. What about going to 8 lug? are the full time 8 lug as strong as a chevy 8 lug? I honestly don;t care abotu it being full time, for now, figuring I do have a 203. or could i use chevy parts, but keep my flat top knuckles?? what about 81-84 dodge rotors, spindles, and hubs?? woul they work? BTW, right now i run 35" goodyear mt/r's on road, 36x12.5x15" super swamper sx's off, and plan on putting on 38.5x14.5x15" swamper sx's
