electrical problem-72 W300-need help

The heater fan fuse in my 72 W300 keeps melting, not blowing the normal way. I can smell it burnout, usually lasts 2-3 days. The surrounding plastic of the fusebox is also melting. I've looked for bare wires, etc. but found nothing yet. The fuse comes out heat discolored, but the bridge inside the fuse is never broken. Any suggestions?
