WC-12 engine hand crank

Does anyone know where a fella might pick up a hand crank for a 1941 WC-12? There is a liitle hole in the front bumper, right in line with the lower pulley. I assume this hole is for the hand crank, but I didnt get one with my truck. Also,has anyone ever tried starting one of these trucks with the hand crank? I remember my dad telling horror stories about hand cranking a Ford model T(?), like busted knuckels, etc. Just a little curious if the hand crank would be an option out in the boonies when the starter quits.
