What do you guys use for Transportation?

I assume that not everyone has a 1 ton truck and trailer to go pick up a project truck. So how to you guys move these trucks around in a cost effective manner?

I am in Canada just north of North Dakota and whenever I get a quote to move a vehicle up here (or even up to North Dakota) it price is in the thousands and sometimes almost double the cost of the truck that I would like to get.
