Sherm, My dad and I had a 48 CJ2A when I was 13. We flat towed it all the time behind a 67 Barracuda with a 273 2bbl. Rope on the steering, t-case and tranny in neutral, highway, no problemo. Wish I still had both of them. You could get a single box spring and mattress and me in the back of that Barracuda, what a car!! Now, a 48 CJ2A weights 2050lbs. RVers do it all the time.
