Be careful with the coyotes, the barking and growling of domestic dogs are signs of prey to a pack of coyotes. A barking dog might deter a single coyote but to a pack of three or more thats a meal call. I have lots of coyotes around here, when they get too close I'll shoot one and hang the carcass outside my fence. They stay away for a while after getting a sniff of their dead friend. If I just shoot one and get rid of it the pack will still stay around as long as they think there is a meal to get in that area.
