Dear Tim, A phone call to the office would have gone a long way to easing your mind as one lens would have shipped for the same price as 2 no matter what the website said. I'd certainly like to sell you the item but I don't think that we are well suited to do business together.

Great to know I could have saved the two bucks extra shipping. He misses the point that I feel like he is gouging his customers on the shipping, then he tells me to flake off!
Great customer service there.
I have contacted him by phone a couple of times in years past asking for a donation to Power Wagon Rallies. He would never give a single thing. Says a lot.
