If you're willing to risk ruining it, there's no harm in trying. Cast iron behaves very strangely when it gets near its melting point. It becomes progressively "slushier", and sort of appears to hold its shape but can quickly fall apart if you push on it. Maybe a little bending would be okay? or if the end disintegrates, could you salvage the tricky end by brazing a piece of pipe onto what's left? It sounds like a bit of an experiment to me. I'm not aware of any production techniques that involve hot bending of cast iron. One good thing in this application is that dimensional stability and warping don't matter at all.
