anyone have a lead on forged spring U bolts?

I took my front springs off my truck today and managed to save the forged U bolts, although the threaded portion that is close to the U part is all damaged. My local spring shop can make me new U bolts, but I wonder if anyone has ever found forged ones?

Anyone ever think of going to a blacksmith and asking them to make some?
