Over and over we get stories about the curse of 10% ethanol gas. It's not handy for me to get ethanol free 87 or 93 octane...but, I can pump the 100 octane, low lead av gas at the local airstrip, currently $5.80 a gallon.

If a PW is essentially a collector truck, not driven daily and rolls less than 500 mi per year, would av gas have a longer "shelf life" and save a lot of old fuel issues?
