for what it's worth:
from what i have read, the one tons were same as 1-1/2 tons with reduced spring rates. all used narrow 20 inch wheels. the 1-1/2 ton front axles i have ('36 and later) have a spindle with a 5 lug/8 inch pattern outside, and a smaller (4 bolt i think) pattern inside to bolt drum to.
