do not use mine as a daily driver, but drive 28 miles to work occasionaly . lack of heater prevents me from driving much in winter, summer with top off is great!!! original gears allow comfortable 45 to 50 mph. have converted to m-series alternator to keep bateries up. front disk brake conversion although expensive was well worth the improved stopping power. mileage leaves much to be desired,,, escort or 454 powered suburban both get better mileage.
