If your gonna drive it every day at least 12 miles you will want to be comfortable in it, so By your question I am assumming you are going to swap in another engine, your going to want power steering and brakes. I would find one with as good a body as possible and if you find one with an intact drive train you can sell the parts. Its going to be expensive. just my .02
