Help ! I purchased my first Powerwagon over the summer(2000), fixed what was necessary to get it registered and on the road.
My problem is that sometimes, not always and not following any level of consistency, the brake pedal is impossible to push down. I can not figure what makes this happen. It has almost resulted in collisions w/ cars, trees, telephone poles etc...
I suspect it is an air over hydraulic type system but dont recognize anything that would create the air pressure in the braking system.
When the brakes work they work great !
The previous owner replaced wheel cylinders. Brake pads have plenty of life on them.
The model number on the id plate is C3 PW6
The year is (a guess) 1955
6 cylinders/gvw-4945
I would appreciate any help/suggestions that people might have.
