From the pictures, you have a nice unmolested rare early crossmember there. I am glad you ahve not welded anything directly to it. Years down the road that rare crossmember may have some significance.
The holes out towards the frame rails directly on the rear face in a slanted pattern were meant for the very early factory drawbar.
