Yeah it can be done. I did it as an experiment for my offroad mach. I actually eliminated the lock-ring and made my own 32 bolt beadlock on the front. The problem is thier is no safety bead in the back, and air will slowly seep out between the tire bead and the wheel. after several attempts at fixing this I finally gave up on that Idea. Its to bad too because the rim looked pretty b.a.! I ended up cutting the centers out building a jig for the lathe and welding the centers back in a regular tubeless rim. Sometime I would like to try and build some sort of beadlock for them, but for right now they seem to hold my 38.5/11/16 super swamper boggers at 4-6lbs pretty good.
