Contrary to others, I have had no problems with any of the electric fuel pumps I have installed on my trucks. Mind you, I buy quality metal housing type pumps, not the plastic in-line junk. Buy yourself a good quality pump, install it correctly, wire it correctly, and you should be good for many years. I have the same pump on my F350 for over 20 years now. Original is always best, but as others have said, re-built is not always what you expect.
