Just be sure you use some sort of isolating pad, like a couple of pieces of old inner tube to help cut down on vibration. And electric pumps work better pushing the fuel than pulling it. Mount it closer to the fuel tank so it will do it's job best. Ground it well and use a fuse to the power supply, and you will be okay.
