But would hunt wildly over idle speed and would stabilize at high rpm.
Suspected the power valve vacuum system initially.

What do you think it was?
Everything was rebuilt or new, valves lash was adjusted,ignition timing set, idle screws set at 19 inches, points set at .017. any ideas?
