i looked at the axles again and as i said i luv the front axles and YES they are thicker than the rears by at least an eight on an inch in this manner
the splines are the thickest part of the axle and on the front the actual thickness is the same as the splined area where as in the rear the actual axles are thinner than the splines
plus it looks to me like the front axle bearing surface that rides in the bushing is thicker than on my civy ffs and also the shafts are thicker cuz as i recall the tractas are like the rear as far as thickness goes in that the shaft is thinner than the splined area just as the shaft is way thinner than the splined aea on the half ton
