Perhaps you know this, but be sure to store them in an inside location if possible.
I always use Picklex, but if there is moist air blowing around, like in a covered shed that is open at one end, I have seen some rust develop over time.
When I keep the metal in a "dry" place like my closed in garage with concrete floor, even if it is humid outside the Picklex keeps it in good shape.
