Finally got around to preparing these reproduction second series bedsides from Matt Tisdale for painting. They sat around for a year and a half before I could get to them. They had a fair amount of surface rust all over and the stake pockets even had some light pitting. After removing as much rust as possible with 3M pads and steel wool I sprayed them with Picklex 20 using a garden sprayer. It removed all traces of rust almost immediately. Hope to get them in primer before another year and a half passes by!
