I have a new heater switch I am going to use to power my Mopar in cab heater.
It is a three terminal switch. Two terminals are mounted on either side of a 15 amp breaker and the other terminal is mounted on the side of the switch. There is also a porcealin covered coil.
I need to know how to hook up the wiring so I don't burn it out.
I can get the switch to work on both speeds but the coil at the back of the switch gets too hot to touch.
Is this normal?, I assume it is not that is why I am asking for help.
