I can relate to your problem...Last summer my PW died all the time when the weather was hot. Chock it up to ethanol. I went with a frame mounted electric fuel pump with a fuel filter between it and the tank and routed the fuel lines as far from the manifold and block as possible then put on an insulating sleeve over the line. If you do this don't forget an oil actuated pressure switch. I also mounted a small fuel pressure gauge inside on the fire wall. I run at about 3 lbs fuel pressure.
